From First Ideas to Build-Ready Drawings

Designing and planning a home project can feel complicated — especially when dealing with planning permission, building regulations and technical drawings.

The process is actually much more straightforward when it’s handled properly.

I guide you through each stage, keeping everything clear, organised and moving forward, so you always know what’s happening and what comes next.

A Simple, Structured Approach

Every project is broken down into four clear stages:

Consultation

We start with a conversation about your ideas, your property, and what you’re looking to achieve.
This helps establish what’s possible, what’s realistic, and how best to move forward.

Includes initial advice and discussion of your options

Planning

Once the direction is agreed, I develop your design and produce the drawings required for planning.
I’ll also handle the planning application and liaise with the local authority on your behalf.

Includes planning drawings and application submission

Technical Design

After planning approval, the next step is preparing detailed drawings for building regulations.
These drawings ensure your project can be built correctly and meet all required standards.

Includes building regulations drawings and construction details

Construction

During the build stage, I can assist with queries, provide additional drawings if needed, and support communication with building control.

Ongoing support during construction

Designed to Be Straightforward
